She is survived by: her husband Edgardo Luis Vargas; her parents, Juan Vega and Maria Esther Cruz; her children, Ashley Vargas (Luis Rodriguez) and Edgar Joel Vargas of Waterbury; her siblings, Juan, Orlando, Pedro, Wanda and Magda; and her sisters-in-law, Carmen Martinez and Carmen Alicea Vega. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
