Mario Paternostro Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mario Paternostro of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mario Paternostro to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Paternostro and Agnes Paternostro (Mancini). He is survived by: his wife Pasqualina Paternostro (Mancini) of Waterbury; his children, Mario A. Paternostro of Waterbury and Nella Perugini (Corrado) of Watertown; his siblings, Donato Paternostro (Lise) of Watertown and Ilda Mancini; and his grandchildren, Corina Perugini, Nicole Paternostro (Chris Macary), Lea Perugini, Mario Paternostro and Roberto Perugini. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalen Church (16 Buckingham St, Watertown, CT 06779).
Having hard work ethic, Mario worked for various businesses in the greater Waterbury area such as Albini Construction, Waterbury Foundation, and Waterbury Concrete for over twenty years until his retirement, as well as the Local 390.
