He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Sarlo and Vincenza Sarlo (Manzione); and his brothers, Anthony Sarlo, Joseph Sarlo, Ernest Mark Montavon and Thomas Montavon.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Sarlo (Pagano); his sons, Gary Padula (Lisa) of Watertown, Mark A. Sarlo (Christine) of Watertown and Paul M. Sarlo (Aurescela Castroverde) of Edgewater, NJ; his grandchildren, Matthew Padula (Samantha Wright) of Waterbury, Carissa Sarlo (Jonathan Carlo) of Southington and Andrew Padula of Watertown; his great grandchild Benjamin Padula; and his brother John A. Sarlo of Waterbury. He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and a grand-dog.
