She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Izzo and Rita Izzo (Cantito); and her brother Michael Izzo. She is survived by: her husband Deacon Charles G. Colella; her children, Anthony Cappellina Jr. and Veronica "Ronnie" Coppola; and her grandchildren, Samantha Alleva (Justin) and Andrew Coppola Jr..
She was the former owner and operator of Personal Image where she worked as a beautician and master barber and then served as the Deputy Registrar of Voters for the City of Waterbury, where she made significant contributions to the electoral process and the local government.
