The passing of Mary Jane Dougherty of Waterbury, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elpidio Fave and Catalina Galivo (Manzon); and her brother Edward Manzon Galivo. She is survived by: her husband Joe of Waterbury; her children, Edward M. Dougherty (Kathy) of Attleboro, MA, Kathleen Raimo (Mark) of Watertown, James Christopher Dougherty of Waterbury and Jay Dougherty of Wallingford; her sisters, Belinda Geiyer (John) of Butte, MT and Edwena Manatrizio (Joseph) of Whitestone, NY.; her grandchildren, Andrew Wilk (Hailey), Isabella Basil, Jayden Dougherty, Ava Dougherty and Sophia Dougherty; and her great grandchild Eli Wilk. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (574 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795).
