He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Jefferson and Brinda Thompson-Jefferson. He is survived by: his children, Nathaniel Ray Jefferson, Jr., Brinda Ann Jefferson, Casandra Jefferson, Stephanie Mills, Shanice Knight and Lanaye Knight; and his siblings, Jay Love Hall, Antoinette Sloley, Nichelle Jefferson, Theresa Jefferson-Byrd and Cassandra Jefferson. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
