It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pauline DiChiara (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco J. DiChiara; her parents, Giovanni Pettinicchi and Luisa Pettinicchi (Pettinicchi); and her sisters, Elvira "Hilda" Moreau and Francis Nardoia.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judith Ann DiGiovanna (John) of Waterbury, Cynthia Marie Litin (DiLeo) of Waterbury and Christine Holly Ruey (Robert) of Southington; her grandsons, David DiGiovanna (Sara) of Waterbury, Mark DiGiovanna (Lisa) of Prospect, Michael DiLeo (Urszula) of Plymouth and Daniel DiLeo (Lindsey) of Woodbine, GA.; her great grandchildren, Mathieu, Justin, Bryce, Avery, Liam, Luca and Leo; her sister Grace Ducharme of Waterbury; and her brother-in-law Michael Nardoia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
