He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Maldonado and Petra Maldonado; and his sister Evelyn Morales. He is survived by: his significant other Nidia Vazquez; his children, Philip Maldonado Jr. (Joyce Maldonado), Valerie Estrada, Tiffany Maldonado and Alyssa Maldonado; his stepdaughters, Jessica Strileckis and Melissa Vazquez; and his grandchildren, Alida, Domenic, Jordan, Raquel, Tyler, Kobe, Juliana, Jisela, Jordana, Alessia, Jayden and Alexa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
