He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Sr Lush and Maureen Lush (Crimmins); and his sister Deborah. He is survived by: his friend Max; his grandchildren, Brittany Balek, Brionna Balek and Brayden Marrero; and his siblings, Robert Lush, Edward Lush, Gary Lush and Kathy Lush. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

“You were (and are)one of my oldest friends. I knew your brother Bobby first from school but you became my tag along pretty quickly. We shared and did so much together. And you were present for so many of the earliest events of my childhood and adulthood. Around the time I was 15 and you were 14 Danny Dunlap came into our lives. And the two of you were thick as thieves ,especially centered around music and motorcycles. I love you my brother and will miss you.”
