He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Roy. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (McCarthy); his daughter Erin Stolfi (Michael) of Wolcott; his grandchildren, Raymond Roy, Spencer, Michaela, Raja and Kaiden; his brothers, Roland Roy of Naples, FL, Richard Roy of Waterbury and Robert Roy of Coventry, CT; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Capobianco (late Domenic) of Florida and Lynn Knauf-Roy of Wolcott, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
