He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Sullivan and Marguerite Sullivan (Walsh); and his brothers, Robert, Thomas, Francis and Joseph Sullivan.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sullivan (Sullivan); his children, David Sullivan of Woodbury and Carole Lunt (Sullivan) of Litchfield; his daughter-in-law Amy Sullivan (Pashko); his grandchildren, Colin, Darren, Michael Sullivan of Woodbury, James, Alison and Honora Lunt of Litchfield; and his sisters-in-law, Arlene Sullivan of Southbury, Alice Sullivan of Southbury and Margaret Sullivan of Naples, FL. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews.
