He was predeceased by: his wife Faith A. Ermeri (Buonocore); his parents, Anthony Ermeri and Lucy Ermeri (Ricci); and his siblings, Vincent Ermeri, Robert Ermeri, Paul Ermeri and Carol Marchessault.
He is survived by: his children, Luci Trerice (Bob) of Waterbury, Richard Ermeri, Jr. (Iveth) of Boynton Beach, FL and Jami Juhasz (Jeff) of Lighthouse Point, FL; his grandchildren, Bobby Trerice, Anthony Ermeri, S. Navy, Valeria Cardona and Sofia Cardona; his sisters, Joan Jannetty of Oakville and Irene Parenteau of Prospect; his sisters-in-law, Carmen Ermeri and Mary Buonocore Lavoie; and his godson Brian Lavoie, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
