It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Cheezic (Waterbury, Connecticut), born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Cheezic and Helen Green; his brother John Petrone; and his mother-in-law Lonnie Schiavone. He is survived by: his wife Alyce (Schiavone); his children, Brett Allen Cheezic (Rebecca) and Allyson Jana Petrauskas (Steven); his grandchildren, Alycia Lonnie Petrauskas, Alexis Jena Petrauskas, Max Cheezic and Anna Leigh Cheezic; his pet Lucy Lui; his nephews, Brandon (Stephanie) and Bryant; his uncle Vincent Pace; his aunt Mary Caruso; his sisters, Carolyn Cockfield and Darcy Cheezic; and his cousins, Gary Pace, Sharon Pace, Neil Pace, Jamie Pace and Karen Pace (Joe Beatle).

Most recently, in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Grandmaster Cheezic sponsored the 1st World Open Tang Soo Do Virtual Championships.
