With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa (Freeman) Haynes of Waterbury, Connecticut, born in Gatesville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2022 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Malachi Freeman and Irene Freeman (Ferguson); her son Jason Haynes; and her brothers, Malachi Jr. and Ulysses Grant Freeman.
She is survived by: her brothers, Norfleet G. Freeman of San Diego, Thomas E. Freeman of Waterbury and Richie D. Freeman of Waterbury; and her grandchildren, Shante, Kevin Jr. Kyle, Jannelle, Jaada, Savannah and Alana. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members and friends.
