She was predeceased by: her husband James Author Luddy; her parents, Jeremiah McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Clifford); and her siblings, Randall (Ruth McGuire), Timothy F. McCarthy, Nancy (James Donahue), John Clifford McCarthy, Rev. Thomas E. McCarthy, Noreen (John McSherry, Sr.), James (Madeline McCarthy), Eleanor (John Rourke) and Brenda (Clinton Harvey).

She is survived by: her children, Brian Luddy, Danbury (Roseann Savenelli), Peter James Luddy, Cape Cod, Michael (Francine Luddy) and Maureen (James Curtis); and her grandchildren, Kevin (Nicole Luddy), James Linder Luddy (Cape Cod), Justina Linder (Austria) and Katrina Luddy (Cape Cod).
