As Theodore departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Theodore. Though Theodore may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore W. Smith and Mae Elizabeth Smith Sr. (Daniels); and his brother-in-law Edward Wildman. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Smith (Luca); his children, Theodore W. Smith III (Ana) of Canton, Michele Flowers (David) of Waterbury and Jennifer Agosto of Waterbury; his sister Margaret Wildman of Southbury; and his granddaughter Viola Marie Flowers of Waterbury. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708). An entombment will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (2324 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705).
