He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Gaffney and Barbara Gaffney (Green); and his brothers, Eddie, Andrew and Gary Gaffney.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas G. Gaffney of Waterbury and Jenna Morin-McKelvey of New Hartford; his friend Cindy Lee of Waterbury; his siblings, Michael Gaffney of Naugatuck, Francis Gaffney, Jr. of Enfield and Margaret Gaffney of Waterbury; and his granddaughters, Brianna and Alexa Morin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
