With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilhelmina Plourde (Waterbury, Connecticut), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wilhelmina Plourde to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid adieu to Wilhelmina's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Wilhelmina has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joao De Sousa Correia and Maria of Conceicas; and her son Michael Plourde. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Plourde; her children, Mary Ouellette of Waterbury, Joseph Plourde (Sandra) of Plainville and Linda Verrilli (Jim) of Sarasota, FL.; and her granddaughter Michelle Ouellette (Sean Krofssik) of Waterbury. She is also survived by several brothers, sisters, many nieces and nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (309 S Main St, Waterbury, CT 06706).
