Frances Lloyd Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Frances Lloyd of Waterford, Connecticut. Frances, born on January 19, 1931, passed away on October 9, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances Lloyd to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank J. Sylvia Sr. and Victoria Sylvia (Zaleski); her husband Phillip Lloyd Jr.; her son Michael Lloyd; and her siblings, Elaine Schmidt, Jane Sheehan, Bill Sylvia and Frank Sylvia Jr. Fay.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kerry Evans (Scott Evans) and Kathy Lloyd; her grandchildren, Michael Evans, Katie Kernozek (Tracy), Patrick Lloyd (Courtney) and Tara Davis (Josh); her great grandchildren, Teagan Kernozek, Callie Davis and Sadie Davis; and her brother Richard Sylvia (Ruth) of Boston. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home (48 Grand St, Niantic, CT 06357). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (22 Haigh Ave, Niantic, CT 06357).

Fay's family offers heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood beside them throughout her more than 11-year journey with Alzheimer's disease.
