He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson White and Aida White (Rovetti). He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Conant Darling (Betsy); his brother Nelson H. White; his children, George (Jennifer White), Caleb (Elizabeth White) and Juliette (Jeffrey Hyson); and his grandchildren, Darby, Eliza, Liam, Faith, Zoe, Sam, Troy, Olivia, Ellie and Reilly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, the Lyman Allyn Museum, or the Mystic Seaport.
