He is survived by: his former wife Priscilla Wilcox; his son Robert; his wife Jeanne Gray; his sister Ellen Tytla; his siblings-in-law, Candace, Thomas Kiely, Charlene, Arthur Plante, Timothy and Elizabeth Gray; his nieces, Alice Creem, Lynn Tytla and Carol Tytla; his nephew Larry Tytla; his grandchildren, Aaron Plante, Jillian Ranno, Adam Plante, Niles Plante, Sarah Raio, Evan Plante and Michelle Gaski; and his friends, Dave Chapman and Gary Williams. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.

His gentle spirit and kind smile lit up a room. We shared some Marriage Prep classes together with Jim and our Aunt Jeanne back in 1980 and Uncle Jim so graciously served as our chauffer that day.
