It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lewis Epps Sr. of Waterford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Epps, and Bertha Epps, Sr. (Tattoon); his daughter Lisa; and his son-in-law Stanley Binion. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Epps (Malloy) of Waterford; his children, Patrick (Emily Epps) of Waterford, James L. (Donna Epps, Jr.) and Marcia Epps-Gillen (Michael); his grandchildren, Taylor, Evvy Epps, Anthony, Michael and Alissa Malhoit; and his siblings, Louise Sebastion, Joseph Epps, Jr. and Kathleen Epps.
