She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haviland and Roberta Kinney Haviland; her spouse Adrian Goldman; her son William McAvoy; and her sisters, Corrine Swan and Betty May Allard.
She is survived by: her children, Michael David McAvoy (Barbara), Thomas McAvoy Carolyn and Kathleen Lucas of North Stonington; her grandchildren, Lisa Holt, Fred Holt, Bob Lucas, Terri Lyn Kuffner, Oryn McAvoy (Stephanie) and Austin McAvoy (Katy); and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Elija Holt, Harlan, Alistair Holt, Mila, Nova McAvoy and Kate.
