She is survived by: her husband William E. Rice III; her children, Damian Ellis (Shirley), Chelsea L. Smith (Jason) and Sirena Rice; her grandchildren, Damian Ellis Jr. (Heather), Aurelia Smith, Alyse Ellis and Vayda Smith; her great grandchildren, Lilie and Mia; her siblings, Gerald Ellis, Charles Ellis, Ronald Ellis and Diana Parker; her friend Bruce Harkness; and her siblings-in-law, Peter Rice, Paul Rice, Claudia Sauer and Audrey Bis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lyons Funeral Home (46 High St, Thomaston, CT 06787). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (669 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795).
