With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Chiarina Orsini of Watertown, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Chiarina left this world on October 24, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mario Orsini; her parents, Rocco Rubbo and Antonia Rubbo (Calabrese); and her siblings, Enrico Rubbo, Giambattista Rubbo, Victoria Orsini and Paulo Rubbo.
She is survived by: her children, Giocondina O'Brien (Mark) of Spring Hill, FL, Mario Orsini (Elaine) of Watertown and Maria Messer (Keith) of Mahattan, NY.; her grandchildren, Anthony Cavallo (Amanda), Nicholas Cavallo (Alexandra Deleon), Isabella Orsini (Shane O'Bar), Vincent Orsini, Riley Messer and Hayden Messer; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah and Luca Cavallo.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (574 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795).
