With sadness, we share the passing of David Sorman of Watertown, Connecticut. David, born on May 5, 1927, passed away on October 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember David for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Sorman; and his daughter Deborah Sorman. He is survived by: his wife Marylee Wilson Sorman; his stepchildren, Neal Miller of Middlebury and Diane Smith of Cheshire; his daughter Karen Tunick of Southbury; his stepdaughter Linda Miller of North Carolina; his daughter Corrine Dodd of Morris; and his sister Lois Anderson of Seymour. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home (12 Franklin St, Ansonia, CT 06401). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
