She was predeceased by: her husband John Joseph Einik; her parents, Filippo Tiso and Maria Libera Tiso (Claricurzio); her daughter Linda Zarrella; her siblings, Joseph Tiso, Carmel Tarasewicz and Rose Stango; and her niece Judith Reilly.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori Nelson (Andrew Nelson) of Southbury; her granddaughters, Katharine Zarrella of Manhattan, NY, Nantucket and Lily Zarrella (Ted Rainaud) of Boston, MA; and her son-in-law Ronald Zarrella. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in Elena's memory to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
