It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Giuseppa F. LaPorta of Watertown, Connecticut, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Benito Vittorio LaPorta; her parents, Pasquale D'Aversa and Giovanna D'Aversa; and her siblings, Maria D'Aversa, Filomena Zurlo, Angelina D'Aversa and Modestino D'Aversa.
She is survived by: her children, Mario LaPorta of Watertown and Silvana LaPorta Moffa of Watertown; her brother Michele D'Aversa of Argentina; her grandchildren, Lauren LaPorta Dayton (Michael), Megan LaPorta Guerrera (David), Benjamin Moffa and Sabrina Moffa; and her great grandchild Luca Guerrera. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
