James H. Wren Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Wren Sr. of Watertown, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Uren and Dorothy Uren (Caruthers); and his siblings, Dorothy Lopez, Francine Uren, Ida Jenkins, Joseph Uren, William Uren, Arthur Wren, Orville Wren and Henry Uren.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wren (Ciriello); his sons, James Wren Jr. (Maria) of Prescott, AZ and Joseph Wren (Loren) of East Lyme; and his grandchildren, Angel, Christian, Katy, Sean and Trevin Wren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint John the Evangelist Church (574 Main St, Watertown, CT 06795). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (669 Platt Rd, Watertown, CT 06795).
