Rosa Merolle Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Merolle of Watertown, Connecticut, who passed away on November 2, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Giovanni Merolle; her parents, Valentino Marziale and Christina Marziale (Saccucci); her great grandchild Hailey Merolle; her daughter Vincenzina; and her siblings, Battista, Silvio, Agnese, Maria and Amelia.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert Merolle (Beverly) of Waterbury and Romeo Merolle (Mindy) of Watertown; her grandchildren, Luca Merolle, Lisa Merolle (Dan Spadola), Ryan Merolle (Jillian), Mark Merolle (Megan) and Christopher Merolle (Colleen); and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Emily, Caitlin Merolle, James, Morgan, Jesse Spadola, Margot and Mina Merolle.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the New Pine Grove Cemetery (850 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
