With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Simpson of Watertown, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Simpson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Porzenheim and Mildred Porzenheim (Sills); her husband George E. Simpson of Mary's Hospital; and her siblings, Betty Carmichael Cary, John Jr., Royal and Ronald Porzenheim.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Stephen Bormolini) and Shawn (Linda Simpson); her grandchildren, Laura, Elisha Muller, Jessica Simpson and Sarah Bormolini; and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Dumaine, Nadia and Julia Muller.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodtick Memorial (420 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Woodtick Cemetery (420 Woodtick Rd, Wolcott, CT 06716).
