It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan P Messier of Wauregan, Connecticut, born in Putnam, Connecticut, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband George R. Messier; and her parents, Herbert Hawkins and Theresa Hawkins (Deloge). She is survived by : her sons, Brian Messier (Jessica) and Andrew Messier (Ashley); her siblings, Bruce Hawkins, Herbert Hawkins (Deanne), Ann Cousineau (Kevin) and Bernice Janssen; her grandson Aiden Messier; and her daughter-in-law Brittany Barnes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
