Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sulo Ahola and Rauha Ahola (Harju); her sister Aune A. Whitehair (Westford) of Hanover, NH; and her son John M Bourgault Jr. of Suffield. She is survived by: her husband Louis Cuervo; her brother Bernard (Beverly Ahola); her children, Lisa M Smith (Gregory) of East Hartland and Scott Bourgault (Valerie) of East Granby; and her grandchildren, Jason and Amber Bourgault. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
