He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Casavant and Johanna Casavant (McPhee); and his siblings, Richard A. Casavant and Donna Lee Eisley. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barbero Casavant; his sons, Douglas Donald Casavant, Jr. (Megan Roalson) of Chesapeake and Stephen Robert Casavant (Amalia Hunter) of Randolph; and his grandchildren, Kyra Na (Casavant), Nyah Se-Sang Casavant and Darren Robert Casavant. He is also survived by extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home ~ Simsbury (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
