He was predeceased by: his wife Ana Inez Ortiz; and his son Miguel Ortiz. He is survived by: his son Luis A. Ortiz (Ashley); his grandchildren, Lexi, Emilee and Ayden; his great grandchild Alexander Junior; and his siblings, Mary, Natalia and Juan. He is also survived by family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Glory Chapel International Cathedral (221 Greenfield St, Hartford, CT 06112). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery (1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
