We announce the death of Barbara Ann Vartenigian of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 87. Barbara Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Szymkowicz Dawiczyk and Steven Dawiczyk; and her brother George Dawiczyk. She is survived by: her husband George Vartenigian; her children, Tyler Vartenigian (Susan Vartenigian), Tracy Vartenigian Burhans (William Burhans) and Jill Vartenigian (Tim Greenzweig); her grandchildren, Katie, Luke Vartenigian, Haliana (Burhans), Khudyak (Daniel Khudyak), Naomi, Augusta Claire Burhans, Zoe, Aaron and Jake Greenzweig; and her brother David Dawiczyk.
