It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara A. (Templeton) Kielbasa of West Hartford, Connecticut is shared. Barbara, born on January 24, 1934, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Walter Kielbasa; her parents, Robert Templeton and Lucy Templeton (Flaherty); and her siblings, William Templeton, Richard Templeton and Jean Herlihy.
She is survived by: her children, Robert W. Kielbasa of West Hartford and Mary Lou (William Kachnowski); her grandsons, Will, Kady Kachnowski (NH) and John Kachnowski (TX); her great grandchildren, Keira Leigh and Khloe Lou (NH); her siblings-in-law, Marie Templeton (West Hartford), Connie Kielbasa (TX) and Edward Kielbasa (Berlin); and her caregivers, Anna, Cathy, Gladys, Indria, Laurie-Ann, Lily and Michelle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (79 New Park Ave, Hartford, CT 06106). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (200 Whitman Ave, West Hartford, CT 06107).
