With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bimalin Lahiri (West Hartford, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bimalin left this world on February 2, 2026 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Niva and Amulya; and his brother Amalin. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Thomas Lahiri (Julie) and Monika Selmont (George); his grandchildren, Luke, Nate, Kevin and Katie; and his sister Tripti Moitra. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Helping Haitian Children, Inc. A memorial service is being planned for the Spring.
