It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores Donofrio Roy (West Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Lucien Roy; her parents, Rose Donofrio and William Donofrio; and her brother Leonard Donofrio, Sr.. She is survived by: her spouse Lou of Hartford; her son Steven Roy (Margaret); her granddaughters, Elizabeth Zimmerman (Michael) and Abigail Sotherland (David); her daughter Michelle Beutel (David); her grandchildren, Christa, Eric, John, Dominic and Elayna Beutel; her son Matthew Roy (Dorothy); her granddaughters, Jessica Ortiz (Al), Lillian Haber (Jason) and Teresa Roy; her daughter Dianna Konrad (Jim); her grandchildren, Jackson and Annie; her great grandchildren, Lucie, Millie, Francine Ortiz, Calvin, Everett Zimmerman, Layla and Isla Haber; her sister-in-law Barbara Donofrio; her sibling's children, Christine Donofrio and Leonard Donofrio Jr.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon Rooney and Teagan Rooney; and her close friends, Shirley, Dee and Dolores. She is also survived by four children, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home (1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Brigid Church (1083 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the West Meadow Cemetery (679 Willard Ave, Newington, CT 06111).
