It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis G. Droney of West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 7, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Veronica Curtin Droney; his parents, James Droney and Mary Ann Droney; and his brothers, Christopher, James, John and Patrick Droney.

He is survived by: his daughter Debra Curtiss (Brian); and his grandchildren, Chelsea and Tyler. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to the Hartford Fire Department Emerald Society, P.O. Box 340416, Hartford, CT 06114 or to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd. – Suite #130, Lanham, MD 20706.
