She was predeceased by: her parents, David José Gomes and Laura of Oliveira; her husband Abel Martins of Pinho; and her brother Alberto. She is survived by: her sister Helena; her children, Alberto (Ginny), Ismael (Kim), Maria Irene (Louis) and Elizabeth; and her grandchildren, Sarah, Emily (Ryan), James (Victoria), Jesse, Christine (Sun), Daniel, Faith, Bethany (Brendan), David (Kelly), Justin (Jessica), Brandon (Christine), Harrison, Charlotte, Margaret and Simon. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home (1084 New Britain Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (50 Kane Street, Fatima Square, Hartford, CT 06106). A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Mount St. Benedict Cemetery (1 Cottage Grove Rd, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gracinda's memory may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Church.
