She is survived by: her husband David Tate Simpson; her children, Margot Simpson Reynolds (Chilton) of Oneonta, NY and Kevin Simpson (Kate) of West Hartford; her siblings, Mark Petroski (Diane) of Manchester and Susan Lofstrom (Will Foran) of Manchester; her brothers-in-law, Doug Simpson (Bobbie) of Wethersfield, Steve Simpson (Cathy) of West Milford, NJ and Peter Lofstrom of Chaplin, CT.; her siblings' children, Greg, Phil Scollan, Irene Petroski, Joe Petroski (Joannah), Elizabeth Simpson, Sarah Lofstrom (Bruce Terra) and Will Lofstrom (Mariah); and her pet Muppet.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Connecticut Humane Society.
