She was predeceased by: her husband Ken; and her sister Geanne. She is survived by: her sons, David Taylor (Mary Lynn Howard) of Philadelphia, PA and Judge Mark Taylor; her daughter-in-law Barbara of West Hartford; her children, Dr. Gregory Taylor of Bloomfield, Andrew Taylor (Joy) of Farmington and Janet McCracken (Jeff) of New Preston; her grandchildren, Joanna (Eddie), Jacob (Aura), Dylan (Caroline), Madeleine, Katie (Bonnie), Claire (Brayden), Lindsay (Jean-Luc), Nathan, Juliette, Chloe and Emerson; and her great grandchildren, Bridget and Keira.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Church of Christ (12 S Main St, West Hartford, CT 06107).
In lieu of flowers, JoAnne has requested a donation to Doctors Without Borders or other humanitarian organizations serving marginalized and vulnerable people.
