“It's really sad news that John is no longer on the planet. He was one of the funniest and most generous people I ever met. And a really good athlete too - really fun to ski with! I also appreciated his very good brain and unique perspectiive. I admired him for attempting to write a book on the spiritual side of golf and I wonder if he ever got it published...though we hadn't spoken for years I am so glad that we had a great long conversation last year.”
