We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2026, at the age of 88, John David Scheib of West Hartford, Connecticut, born in Reading, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scheib, Jr. and Edna Heffner Scheib. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Mannion Scheib; his sister Linda Lyzakowski of Kansas City, MO; his children, John D. Scheib, Jr. (Cyntha Kaplan) of South Windsor, CT and Catherine Scheib Skarzynski (Andrew John Skarzynski) of West Hartford, CT; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Aine Skarzynski, Connor John Skarzynski, Alexandra Marie Scheib, Jordan Elizabeth Murdy and Augustus John Murdy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church or to the Klingberg Automotive Restoration Program.
