She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick A. MacCarthy and Mary MacCarthy (Gilligan). She is survived by: her husband William F. LaPorte, Jr.; her children, LeeAnn Harper (Phillip) of Durham and David LaPorte (Kristy) of Tolland; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Tiedemann, Alyssa Tiedemann (Alec Jannotta), Nicole LaPorte (Nick Larkin), Alexis LaPorte, Sarah Santone (Steve), Sean Harper (Meg), Jadelynn Silvia, Ariana Spanos (George), Maxwell Silvia (Connie) and Zachariah Silvia (Mike Gesnaldo); and her great grandchild Christopher Harper.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Claver Church (47 Pleasant St, West Hartford, CT 06107). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
