She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Chaletsky and Julia Chaletsky (Tushman); her former husband Gerald Kaufman; her son Elliot Kaufman; and her brother Lawrence Chaletsky.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Solomon and Cheryl Bennett; her grandchildren, Jennifer Solomon (Stef Knaur), Isaac Solomon (Kathleen), Jessica Dimitrov (Dimitre), Brittany Hall (Matthew) and Sarah McLaughlin (Connor); and her great grandchildren, Eliza Solomon, Maya Dimitrov, Caleb Dimitrov and Amelia McLaughlin.
