He was predeceased by: his wife Ingunn Hekneby of Hammar, Norway.; his parents, Maxwell Bassock and Beatrice Bassock; and his siblings, Stephen and June.
He is survived by: his sister Sandra Green; his sister-in-law Sharon Bassock; his children, Jonas Bassock, Andrew Bassock (Irene) and Dara Marvel (Fred); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Addison, Isabella and Wade; and his stepgrandchildren, Jack, Connor, Brendan and Kaitlyn.
