He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Ragavamma and Venkata Narayana Singamsetti. He is survived by: his wife Andallu Singamsetti; and his children, Chak, Indira and Sridevi. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to teaching, scholarship, and service, he was awarded Professor Emeritus status by the University of Hartford in 2017.
