With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene M. Dobrosky of West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 87. Though Arlene may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McDermott and Evelyn Stevens McDermott; and her brothers, Joseph and Francis. She is survived by: her children, Colleen Dymarcik of Florida, Deborah Eburg of Massachusetts, Thomas Dobrosky of West Haven and John Dobrosky of East Haven; and her sister-in-law Joyce McDermott of New Hampshire. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Haven Funeral Home (662 Savin Ave, West Haven, CT 06516). A prayer was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
